Flower of the Ocean Celtic Sea Salt is the cream of the crop of natural salt. Crystals are skimmed off of the top of the brine, so they are smaller and more delicate. The salt crust forms flower-like patterns of crystals which may contribute to the name. 

 

Flower of the Ocean is currently the award winning fleur de sal from Portugal, and ranks among the top of lists for flavor and mineral profile. Often considered a gourmet finishing salt, or expediting salt, that is added atop the meal just before serving, which adds flavor, sparkle, and enjoyment to every dish. It is an artisanal food product. Due to its relative scarcity and its labor-intensive production, fleur de sel is one of the most expensive salts.

 

It also produced a lot of Ormus, nearing filling the whole bottle to the top with precipitate.

 

I made this Ormus by adding Dead Sea Salt, and Fleur de Sel Celtic Salts. After mixing it up well I added Natron and let it sit. Finally, I wash it 3 times Now it's ready to in-joy :).
